BOOKS FOR HOME SCHOOLING FOR LITTLE ONES USING THE CHARLOTTE MASON METHOD

   This is one of the books I read by Elizabeth Foss at the beginning of my home school journey which helped me a lot. The main premise is that the reading always takes first priority over everything else - life gets hectic no matter how many children are being home schooled - but reading to your child helps them learn to read as well as helps you to form a close bond with them;
there's nothing quite like snuggling up to mum on cold winter mornings (sometimes in bed) with a hot chocolate and reading for a few hours.

These are the two reference books that can be used to find all kinds of treasures
for your children. The books below are some of the books we have read over
 the years although now of course we are on to books for older children.

Mother Goose Nurserv Rhymes

These and other classic reads are good for stirring a child's imagination as well as introducing them to proper english, correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. If they like them enough one day you'll find them picking up the book on their own and reading to themselves.
